Organic search traffic is the most actionable traffic that you can get. Buyers searching for "best PRODUCT for PROBLEM" and getting your page as the first result is a wonderful thing. 

 

But organic traffic is hard to get AND a bit unpredictable. When Google changes its algorithm, you can go from being in the top 3 search results one day, and then overnight lose 80% of your traffic.
 

Right now, Google seems to have slowed down the changes and is giving us a little breathing room. If you're like us, you're wondering why. 

 

Will this year be a year when AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) makes classic search redundant? 

AI has some issues – like incorrect information presented as true – but a few more iterations could eliminate those problems. 

 

At that point, why would you compare the five top results in Google when you could  just prompt: "best drill based on price and rating, available in US, add reviews and link to video" and AI will return it to you in one simple answer. 

 

The notable transition might not happen this year, but it is closer than we think.
